Adding new contacts

Do you need to invite someone at your organization to collaborate with you on an open grant application?

Follow these steps to send an invitation to access an open (not yet submitted) grant application.

The process to invite team members takes up to 2 business days to process. An invited team member will not have instant access to edit the proposal.

If the application deadline is within 2 days, please submit the application while the invitation is pending.

On the application record, click the Contact Roles/Team Member tab. Click the Invite New Members button.

Invite Team Members

Enter the name, username and email address for the new team member. Click Save.

You must enter a unique email address and username for each invited team member.

After you enter data for invited team members, their names will display on the Pending Invited Team Members list.

Pending Invites

The invited team member will receive four (4) messages as part of the verification process.

1. Invitation message

The first message is a collaboration invitation message. Click the link to start the registration process.

2. Account Approved Message.

After the invited team member's account has been approved, a second message to activate your account will be sent. This message also contains OSF's data protection consent statement. Click the link to accept terms.

Click Continue

Check your mail to reset your password.

3. Set your password.

After you have activated your account, you will receive a third message to set up your password. Click the link to create a password for your account.

To ensure the security of your portal account, the link in this message expires in 24 hours.

4. Account Activated

This final message confirms the activation of your grantee portal account. Click the link to navigate to grantee portal.

After you log in with your username and password, you will see the proposal you were invited to edit.
